I am able to read and post messages from the web interface, but I am unable to upload files. Is there a way to do this?

I don't think that's an option at the moment (regardless of which web UI you're talking about), but it's something I wanted to look at adding eventually.

Maybe it'll work if we just add the cloud to it. You know, cloud support. The cloud. Would make it real easy to upload the files from my i-pad. To the cloud.

The web interface would have to ensure the files are in cloud format.

I also run a Winserver BBS at http://hobbylinebbs.com Wildcat uses what they call a .WCT extension which is basically an .HTM file renamed, that allows you to connect to the various function of Wildcat. Telnet or HTML logins, the ability to Sign Up for an account. Basically, you would create an HTML page, rename it to .WCT and have the ability to link to various Wildcat functions.

I like this feature because I can design my own mobile-friendly page which includes the ability to provide the users with all of the functions of the BBS on every page.

    Just my thoughts.

It would be good to quote the part of the message you're replying to. I'm not sure what you're referring to in your reply.

I was asking if it was possible to add files via the web interface. I also noticed that once
a user logs in via the web interface, there is a notice that there are new messages in a
particular network, but once there, you don't see which conference area has the new
    messages.

I'm logged into my Winserver system now, and quoting is easy. Not a big thing though.

noticed that once a user logs in via the web interface, there is a notice that there are new messages in a particular network, but once there, you don't see which conference area has the new messages.

It should be showing you which Groups have new messages, and then if you click on a Group, which Subs have new messages, and then if you click on a Sub, which Threads have new messages. Blue is for subs that are in the user's scan config, grey is for subs that the user doesn't scan.

It's possible that the BBS is just being slow to send the new message count to the browser, particularly if there are a lot of groups/subs/unread messages. Maybe a number will show up if you wait.

It's also possible that something's broken. There ought to be a message in your web server's log, or in your browser's console to indicate a problem, eg. right after you click on a Group to view the list of subs.
