These are the errors I'm getting when trying to launch the control panel after updating to 3.18. Running win 10 32bit. updating from 3.17 to 3.18. I'm back to 3.17 now, as I restored my backup, but I wanted to know what was going on before I start the procedure again. Followed the readme.text to the letter in the update.
One of the codes was duplicate message areas ANN and FLEAMARK. I went back and checked the orig msgs.cnf, and there is one each of those message areas, but after the update, sure enough there are 2 of them in that file of just those 2 areas
The other areas, I have no clue. Below are the errors.

You don't have a sub-board with an internal code of "dove-syncdata". Do you carry the "syncdata" sub? What it's internal code set to in SCFG? This is nothing new in v3.18.
Looks like a corrupted msgs.cnf file. Upgrading does not touch your .cnf files unless you run "jsexec update.js". Perhaps just try skipping that step and see what happens. --

I carry the syncdata sub, but I haven't changed anything in it for years. I'll go back and check the name, but I'm sure I never changed it.

I did run jsexec update.js, as that was the last step in the readme file. I'll try it without running that command. I've seen in previous messages that the update doesn't touch the cnf files, just curious, what is the purpose of the jsexec update.js command, what does it do.
