I received email today with an attachment, but its not being presented to download.

I don't know. You can try disabling the msglist module (clear it from the "Read Mail Module" in SCFG->System->Loadable Modules) and see if you can download the attachment then.

Did the message come in via the mail server? If so, and it had a detectable mime-attachment, the mail server would have set the "MimeAttach" attribute in the "AuxAttr". This should be visible with viewing the message header (e.g. with smbutil).

Yup, removed it and then I was prompted to download.

Yup, came in via SMTP: sendmail -> synchronet.

Okay, then it should work with msglist.js too. The 'D' command should ask if you want to download the attachment (after it asks if you want to download the the "message source" - answer: 'No').

Actually, the main reason I let you know was because the only reason I knew there was an attachment to download, is because I went looking for it. (The sender told me they had sent one.)

IE: Reading the message there was no indication that there was additional items on the message, let alone mime attachments.

No biggy, I'll use the old way..

I think it should say "MimeAttach" in the displayed header.

The "new way" should work fine too.

    Ahh, OK:

    Subj: WeatherMon
    Attr: Read Attach

The "new way" should work fine too.

OK, it does... I didnt notice the little "Attach". (who looks at attributes? :)

"D" (download) only works when the preview pane is open?

"D" (download) only works from the list mode, whether preview pane is open or not. I'll add it to the view mode too here in a second. 'D' is traditionally Delete, but I already have the DEL key used for that, so 'D' for download should be fine, if not potentially confusing.
