That could very well be true. It's about that time of year when many people take vacations, especially people in the US who have children who are off school for the summer.

BBSing is a HOBBY. Like all hobbies, it should NEVER take priority
over things like church, family, health, job, or especially "honey-do's".

I also have 2 other hobbies...ham radio (DM is also a ham, but his
callsign escapes me), and square dancing.

I don't spend every waking moment with any of them...I do a little
bit it each, then move on. Otherwise, I'll risk burnout.

There have only been 11 cases of COVID-19 so far in the Virgin Islands, so everyone is pretty weary of visitors (and most can't or aren't willing to travel these days anyway) - so it's been great. We love snorkeling and enjoying the sealife and wildlife (tons of iguanas):

when i would take yearly vacations i had cameras setup in the driveway and doors and we had a guy come to do the pets twice a day.

even that wasnt good enough. if you leave your house, have someone stay there. just pay them well. if someone wants to take your stuff they can put on some mover costume or wear an orange hardhat and they can rob you blind.
