• Electronic Mail Menu - behavior of K menu

From Arelor@VERT to All on Friday, June 05, 2020 04:09:22
Hello everybody! Sorry to bother you all again.

I have noticed that, in the Electronic Mail Menu, section Read/Kill Messages you have sent (accessed with "K" key), only Internet mail shows up. Is this intentional?

do you have FTN netmail set to be deleted once sent? (echocfg)
do you have deleted messages allowed to be viewed by users? (scfg)

I don't do internet mail on my board (SMTP/email), but I certainly
see Netmail that I've sent in that K function.

You won't see echo/local messagebase messages in there.

It depends on the system and whether the "kill read" or "kill sent" attribute flags are set when a mail message is created or if you delete the message yourself, it'll be eventually removed from the mail base as well and not appear in your "sent" list of messages.
