After I updated yesterday I got this error.
./gtkmonitor
Segmentation fault
It was fine before hand.
Segmentation fault
cd /sbbs/src/sbbs3/gtkmonitor
make clean
make RELEASE=1

Like a little kid I was hoping to get this!
But Thank you and hoping I can still get this fixed...
Segmentation fault
Did you try running src/cleanall.sh first?
The actual/useful error message would be displayed before that.

Ok now I got it to open up but a small window opens, Connot load configuration
data.
Also while asking how can I configure both gtkmonitor & umonitor to open
in a TAB window like say umonitor release 1.94 instead of a new window
opens up other then the TAB windows.
Is your SBBSCTRL environment variable set?

Hello
It was before and is now.
Could you give us the entire text of the error message? It should contain some detail in a message like "ERROR Loading Configuration Files: <some detail>".
The actual/useful error message would be displayed before that.

Morning!
Here you go I see I have a path error but my question why or how did it
compile before?
make -C ../../xpdev mtlib
make[1]: Entering directory '/home/bbs/sbbs/src/xpdev'
make[1]: Nothing to be done for 'mtlib'.
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/bbs/sbbs/src/xpdev'
make -C ../../smblib lib
make[1]: Entering directory '/home/bbs/sbbs/src/smblib'
make[1]: Nothing to be done for 'lib'.
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/bbs/sbbs/src/smblib'
Compiling gtkmonitor.c
Package libglade-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libglade-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libglade-2.0' found

Thanks...
Looks like you're missing one or more prereq's: http://wiki.synchro.net/install:nix:prerequisites

Thanks I'll look it over, but like I said before (rubbing head) how the
heck did it compile before. I know doesn't matter now, but just wondered.
Because the code in CVS (specifically src/conio) changed and now requires the "wide" flavor of the ncurses header files.

Ok that sounds about right!
Everything works right now, looking forward to fido being right with the
world and then move to tweaking the system or should I say learning.
Okay, cool. If you're not already setup with a node number a hub, the script init-fidonet.js might be helpful to you. It tries to be helpful at least, it's new, so maybe it won't be. But it tries. :-)
