    Hi All

    I'm still trying to get my board running. I've put months of work into it and not getting very far. One of the issues I have is that for three of my four QWK mail networks (Retronet, Gamenet, SFNet) every time I log on, it displays all of the messages, instead of just the unread ones. What I don't understand is that DoveNet is fine, it only shows me the unread ones. Any ideas?

    Are you peforming a new-message scan or some other kind of message scan?

    Maybe double-check your new-scan settings (&N command from the main menu of the default/classic shell).

    Your scan configuration and pointers (for the first/sysop user) should be stored at:

    data/user/0001.subs

    Maybe grab one of the sections from that file corresponding to a sub that you're having this problem with, and paste it here.
