Re: GTKMONITOR

I would like to find out why it now opens a new window instead of the way it worked before 04.03.20 when it opened in a TAB window.
That actually sounds like a configuration "issue" with your linux install and not with gtkmonitor. Sometimes when you update a package or, if you have audo (sorry, AUTO) updates turned on, a package gets an update without you knowning it, the default settings will change.
I have noticed odd behavior like that, moreso with my ubuntu boxes than the ones that run straight debian, after applying updates. I usually have to go back in and change a setting. It seems to happen a lot with the terminal windows like gnome-terminal and lxterminal... I use mc (midnight commander) a lot, and sometimes updates will turn the PF10 key back on for the terminal to capture, while I want it passed to mc. Very frustrating!
IIRC, using a more vanilla terminal like xterm stops a lot of this, but also does away with neat functions like tabbed windows. :)
