Do you think Linux In the future will adapt a Face ID system to their OSes?

I imagine someone might make a face login system for Linux (more specifically, probably the GUI environments).

So Linux is a kernel, not an OS. Android uses the Linux kernel and there are plenty of Android devices that support Face ID.

I recently got it set up on my Linux Laptop to replace the Windows Hello login, and it's pretty slick.

It uses the infrared camera that Windows Hello was designed to use, but I don't think it has 3d structure recognition, yet, so it's not as secure.

Either way, it works well enough for me and it's not like I'm storing state secrets on my laptop.
