that we are blessed with every day on the Earth. Dove-Net has been my home here since the last decade.
Home??? This is a computer. It's not your home. It's not anyone's "home" you need serious help and you're not going to find it here.
easy up there, fella... have some empathy and put yourself in others' shoes... i know exactly what TM means... i've grown up with computers... they are much easier to deal with than trying to interact with other humans... they don't bitch, gripe or complain... as a programmer, i reset them and rewrite the code if they don't do as i want... some of us went to college and had life experiences that others have not ever had... dating, interacting with others every day, being able to talk to the opposite sex (or our own sex if that's what we were into)... then others of us didn't take that route... they found computers and stuck with them because there was no controversy or disagreements... some are very religious or spiritual while others are more scientific...
you ran into a similar situation recently... sometimes life is a bitch and we tend to unload on others when we have simply had a bad day for some reason... try putting yourself in the shoes of others before passing judgement... we (TINW) do not always know what others are going through... sometimes, one wrong word can cause huge harm or anguish... sometimes alcohol or drugs can enhance these situations and eaily cause us to lose our control... being able to recognize that is a good thing... not being able to means we are too close to the problem and are unable to recognize that, take a step back, and switch gears... this is life and part of being human, man... empathy is a huge benefit... many today cannot, for some reason, empathize with others... they have a lot of learning that will come to them over time if they even last that long...
what's that old saw? choose your battles... some are simply not worth the anguish...
