I can't believe how many BBS software programs were written over the years.
Some I heard of and used and some I didn't know even existed. A lot of them
have disappeared but thank god someone still collects them. Gives it a bit of
nostalgia seeing what we once used to use at one time.
Ain't that the truth. I've only ever checked out a small handful of the options. Back in the late 1980's, I started opening a phone line to the public running a modified version of Host+, written in Telix's own SALT scripting language. Back then, I had checked out PCBoard, Wildcat, and finally setttled on Synchronet.
