I would but the laptop that I am using is a loaner. The email contact information is within my laptop that is in the shop.
I just wanted to put it out there if anyone has noticed if this domain is

I would like to provide a correction myself, siliconu.synchro.net is the domain for one of my downlinks at the hub, havens.synchro.net is the other. siliconu.synchro.net is still unable to connect to receive his fidonet mail bundles that the hub is trying to send. and is still failing a ping test 100%

havens.synchro.net is passing the ping test
but is also failing to be available to receive fidonet mail, it remains as it has been unable to connect.

I also use the folks dyndns they are super reliable, however they are
the "hard-coded" provider in my arris cable modem as to where I can not provide any other service paid or free. I have to use them, but its not bad, it's around 40 dollars for the year.

This guy seems to have disappeared around late March. (Took a quick look and I didn't see any messages from him after that point.) Seems he's on fsxNet as well; maybe Paul is having similar trouble.

I believe this is Hustler, who has expressed a desire to drop Fidonet from his BBS altogether. Hopefully he'll confirm that and then you can just remove him from your config.

I can you this, he did not even run a bbs as it administrated on the other side of the country in California. Nah. No Nope! So I had his arse erased, He was really rude beyond words. So I removed his node from my corner of fidonet that covers New York State / Net 267 To coin a phrase You're Fired! and I will also let the folks know in FSXNet to be warned. I am a good guy but even I have limits...

Yeah I know, but I've never ever had a problem with dyn the BBS is connects
via telnet with dyn,even the fidonet HUB uses dyn. It's reliable..
I'll just leave it working as it is.

You were also asking about havens.synchro.net, that's our angry friend Hustler, another character altogether. I suspect the two of you have some mutual dislke.

Lastly, we were given the impression you've had problems with Synchronet downlinks and were steering people toward other software. Fair enough if that's what you want to do, but I want to mention that there are people around here using and maintaining Synchronet's FTN stuff. If you run into problems, please let us know; there are folks around who can fix bugs or offer suggestions.
