I've seen videos of Synchronet also on youtube (I think it was youtube) but "Mystic Guy" has done a lot of videos showing how to configure Mystic.

I've always found wiki.synchro.net answers most of my questions.

Yeah, I tried to do something with the BBS list after Roxanne let it go. She sure did a good job with the list and did a great service for sysops and users for many years.

It's something I shouldn't have done, I never had time for it back then.. but I

The Millionaire's message contained UTF-8 and was flying the "CHRS: UTF-8 4" control paragraph, but your reply, though it contained a copy of his UTF-8 characters included the control line "CHRS: LATIN-1". :-(

Looks like there's a problem with your message editor or tosser.

BBBS has the beginnings of UTF-8 support but it's not complete. I am logged in locally now and according to the docs there is some support for UTF-8 when logged in locally. I went back to The Millionaires message and the UTF-8 characters still don't look right.

I bet my CHRS kludge still says LATIN-1.

You talking about the message area? It's on a network, FidoNet. Ever heard of it? It has message areas to support pretty much every BBS package that ever existed including this one.

It appears that you aren't quoting message anymore. It's always helpful to quote the message you're replying to (or at least the part of the message you're replying to) so that it's easier for the recipient (and other readers) to follow the conversation. For instance, I might have missed a message, but I don't know what the star is that you're referring to.
