I have a mac, but I'm not running Synchronet on it. The VM I'm using to run bbs.synchro.net on Win7-32 is under Microsoft's Hyper-V (on Win10).

Not really, though a lot of hardware bridging support has been added ... vbox-current now has to be hosted on an x64 host OS

No offense, Brah, but as DM said in reason 1. to test Synchronet ....

Nothing is perfect, nor is any project complete ....

Why not just pick an OS, install SBBS on it, and try it out ... because, if you wait until the Program is Completed, then, updates will no longer be available! :-)

No, hiccups, but all 64-bit flavors of Windows aren't well-suited to running 16-bit DOS programs. So if you want to use/run 16-bit DOS programs, then a 32-bit flavor of Windows would be better than 64-bit.
