anyone know how to have emailval.js update a validated users expiration date? I added the line "user.security.expiration_date = "00/00/00"; to emailval.js but it didn't update the user record ... all it did was make my beer warm.

My bad, it took me a minute to realize that user.security.expiration_date has a built in calculator for unixtime so I changed the line to user.security.expiration_date = user.security.expiration_date + 31536000 (seconds in 365 days) to add a year and it worked ... :-/

Sure, pretty much anything's possible. I don't see an "exemption" really applying. But I think just making a configurable flags1-4 flag for that purpose would be better.
