    ...it got me thinking, so on a hunch I went to https://shodanscore.com/, and for the first time ever it worked.

    Don't know when the whole letsync javascript program started working for me, but I guess it does... so weird, wish I could figure out why it's working now when it wasn't before.

    Now to update my Google Analytics! TO the corporate overlords!

    Google analytics... Have you ever tried Matomo? (formerly Piwik) for *lytics? It was open source and a pretty good alternative to GA. Plus the dashboard was wonderful. My company was all about going GA and ended up going with Coremetrics. Anyway, the free GA has a bandwidth limit so if that's of concern and you're not paying, maybe look into Matomo.
