• Letsyncrypt gives a error

    From M1ch43l@VERT/ALCABBS to All on Friday, May 10, 2019 11:59:35
    Hi All,

    When i try to run letssyncrypt.js i get the following error:

    Reading script from C:\sbbs\exec\letsyncrypt.js
    C:\sbbs\exec\letsyncrypt.js compiled in 0.00 seconds
    Getting directory.
    Getting directory.
    !JavaScript : uncaught exception: Unable to connect to acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.
    orgc:0
    C:\sbbs\exec\letsyncrypt.js executed in 0.31 seconds
    !Module (letsyncrypt.js) set exit_code: 1

    JavaScript: Destroying context
    JavaScript: Destroying runtime

    Returning error code: 1

    I can connect to the acme page however. So then i thought: Maybe i can put my wildcard certificate on my webserver, but where are the certificate files located for the webserver?

    Greetingz,

    M1ch43l

    Did you add your domain name to ctrl/letsencrypt.ini?

    That seems to be working now!

    First i only tried the Directory= Statement but that didnt work. Now i created the [Domains] section and it is working now.

    Could you email or post your .ini entries. I've never gotten letsyncrypt working, I stopped trying, should really get it going properly since Google is being such a bitch about having your site ssl encrypted.

    for a plain single site, you start with only one line... when the script runs, it fills in the rest... that one line is

    TOSAgreed=true

    and nothing else... the [keyid] and [state] keys will be added and filled in automatically...

    when i did it, i set up the event and the ini file as above... then i triggered
    the event via

    touch /sbbs/data/syncrypt.now

    and let it go... it was quite simple once i backed out to the basics... i have not done a multi-site certificate, though... only my one for sestar.synchro.net...

    it'll be in /sbbs/ctrl... you mnay have to create the file manually with only

    TOSAGREED=true

    in it... then you create the event as shown in the wiki... lastly you trigger that SYNCRYPT event...

    touch /sbbs/data/syncrypt.now

    it should complete and the ini file will be updated with five more lines... after that, it should be in operation...

    http://wiki.synchro.net/module:letsyncrypt

    ignore the multiple domain part for now... just create the file with the above one line in it and trigger the event and you should be good to go...

    You have to create the file with a text editor.
