Anyone else having problems connecting to synchro.net?

I had a power-outage for about 12 hours last night from approx. 10pm to 10am PST. My UPS battery doesn't last nearly that long. :-) Anyway, all should be good now.

does yours beep with a tone when it's supplying power? mine does. i'm not sure if it's supposed to do that or if it's because i have too much plugged in. i'm in a good area so rarely lose power.

Mine is also a cyberpower. I have noticed that the beeps are closer
together the closer the unit is to running out of power.

Are you guys getting descent life out of your UPS? Mine tend to only last a couple of years before failing...

I don't use a UPS, I have a 1500 watt inverter that gets power from a bank of two Truck Betteries that is on continual charge until supply is cut, can run my cable modem, two PCs, 2 tv's, a space heater and a couple lamps, etc, for over a week before it needs recharging, which can be connected to any vehicle if the power stays out that long :)

Out of the Cyberpower ones, yes. The one I had before it did not seem to
last long. I replaced the battery, which doubled its life. However, when
it stopped working again, another battery did not fix it. I forget what
    brand that one was.

That sounds interesting. My survivalist cousin would be impressed. :)

I have a CyberPower UPS that seemed to fail earlier this year. It doesn't even seem to turn on anymore. I had it for about 9 years though.. I'm not sure if I want to buy another CyberPower or a different brand of UPS.

I had another UPS for my BBS machine (different brand) that I think only lasted a couple years. I bought a new UPS for my BBS machine, I think just last year.

If he wants my instructables on how to build a wood gas generator or HHO generator (both can be used to run a small gas engines using either wood or water) and schematics to use a lawnmower engine as a generator I can dig them out and pass them along, thought there are already tons of videos on the net covering the subjects. I built a HHO generator and installed it on my Freightliner in 2008, fuel economy went from 6.7 pg to 11.6
