I suppose one good thing about posting it on the wiki is that it's a page that can be relative easily found, whereas a message in a BBS message base could eventually end up deleted when enough new messages are posted in the sub-board and old messages are cycled away.

I like to keep all the old messages in Baja and some of the other boards to help refresh my memory.

As far as I know, there is no Baja message base. Synchronet uses SMB (Synchronet Message Base) format. Baja is a scripting language used by Synchronet.

dont know what you mean by this. you either registered it or you didn't
you didnt save money. you probably spent money because some of those were generated codes that are in the public.

the people just that got keys just need to release their keys.

he was a pretty secretive guy.

Well, i found his obituary. i won't post it. He has family.

The guy wasn't an idiot. if he didnt make plans to release his stuff, that was a decision. It wasn't an oversight.

Regarding MQTT... sweet!

I've been using Mosquitto for home automation (motion detection, temp/humidity sensor) for awhile now and this is a great additon to Synchronet!!

Lots of cool use cases including sysop chat that was mentioned... I can make my doorbells go off :)
