Still cannot get *qnet-ftp to callout, I don't see any additional debugging info after the update DM modified to help tract down the problem other than a new line on the console "network callout to VERT returned 0

Interesting... it was 0 bytes so I recompiled it again and now it is 1.5K ... ran touch /sbbs/data/qnet/vert.now ... actually connects but does now download vert.qwk

Okay, so that was the problem. Might want to look for any other 0-byte .bin files that might need to be recompiled.

Okay, so that was the problem. Might want to look for any other 0-byte .bin files that might need to be recompiled.
