• outbox in sbbsecho.ini

    From Dumas Walker@VERT/CAPCITY2 to ALL on Saturday, June 23, 2018 11:17:00
    If I set up an outbox in my sbbsecho.ini for a node, do I need to make any changes to my binkit.ini file so that binkit will recognize it?

    I know they can be one ini file now, but they are not. I find the wiki confusing and do not trust what the javascript update might do, so...

    <JEDIMINDTRICK>
    That is not the answer I am looking for.

    :)

    Thanks!

    BinkIT does not support file boxes.

    Thanks. I misunderstood something I read on the sbbsecho.ini wiki. It mentioned an "obox" setting, but it also mentioned binkp and not binkit. I
    did not read it correctly the first time.

    Hopefully it mentioned BinkD (not BinkP).

    yes, obox is binkd's nomenclature for an outbound filebox... it also has ibox which is an inbound filebox... i use both here on my hybrid frontdoor/binkd system...
