what does file open: 'e' mean
You can safely ignore it. It means the binkit.js is use a now-deprecated (and never worked) method of "exclusive-open" of a file.

Wondered the same thing... I despise errors in my logs as they catch my attention and appear to be something I need to fix. Is there a way to keep that warning from appearing.
Also, I am receiving a "Timed out receiving packet data!" error from one of my uplinks. What do I need to increase the amount of time it takes to receive a packet (file)?

I think you would have to change this line in binkp.js:
this.timeout = 120;

Changing it to 360 seemed to have fixed the problem. Thank you.

Interesting. 120 seconds is a long time. Perhpas that milliseconds.

The scripts that produce those warnings need fixing.

And may I ask now do we fix that.
And may I ask now do we fix that.
Most likely, Deuce or I will address them.

I still need to remove the @domain from the node: line in sbbsecho.ini to toss incoming tic files.
I don't mean to put you (or Deuce) to work I just don't want that to fall off the radar. :)
I don't know if that's a problem or not. Deuce recommends that the node/link sections (originally in binkit.ini, not sbbsecho.ini) always have the @domain suffix. I'm not sure why some things work without it and some things don't (e.g. tickit.js). I'll have to play with tickit soon and find out.

I just asked Deuce in IRC but had to run. Hopefully he will see it and understand my question. He may have a solution.
