I noted in the log today the following error with the FTP server:

4/5 05:07:18p 1528 !ERROR 13 (Permission denied) (line 1615) removing
file: c:\sbbs\tempdir\SBBS_FTP.633c5f829588850.html

Is that something I should be concerned about??

Also, at times, the Synchronet Control Panel has crashed...both when
I've been online, and when I'm not online...crashing at least once a
day. I'd have to dig into the log entry for the data, but I've seen
messages of "End of existing log data entry. Possible crash".

It's unusual and unexpected, but not a huge concern. Do you have a lot of SBBS_FTP.* files in your c:\sbbs\tempdir ? If they're old (or sbbs isn't running), you can safely delete them.

More details would be needed. When you say "when I'm not online" - does that mean that no one could've been connected to any of your BBS's servers or services? There's been a lot of TLS and SSH thrash lately (enhancements, improvements and new bugs). To see the last bit of activity in the various server/services log would help to isolate which was the likely cause of the crash.

is the temp directory in scfg named c:\sbbs\tempdir?

it is usally /sbbs/temp.

might want to check with that first.

I only saw 4 in there, so I zapped them.

Online would be when I'm logged in, and offline when I'm not. I saw an
error today TLS ERROR [1] creating SSL context.

I'll have to ge the logs another day...we've had rain and storms all
night and this morning...I'm in a lull right now, but more storms are
headed this way.

I had 4 items in \sbbs\tempdir -- and 1 in \sbbs\temp -- I deleted the
files out of both.
