    Bill,

It was Disney World that did it. lol!!

In that case, he's going to be very sorely disappointed.... Disney World is in Florida!

Oh hell... one of the Disney's!! It's been a long time but I should have BM>known that being my grandkids are coming of "that" age. I can see it now... BM>"character breakfasts". At least it's all you can eat!!

I've been to both of them (Disney World in Orlando, Florida...and
Disneyland in Anaheim, California). Nowadays, the price to get in, and
work your way around is hellacious...whether it's for admission, food
    and drink, rides, souvenirs, etc.

I've been to both as well, but not for a long time. The last time I was at either was Disney Land in 1992. I remember waiting in line for about an hour for Splash Mountain. I can only imagine how much busier it is these days.

All depends on what time of year you go. We just took the kids there last March, and were told it was the perfect time (we didn't know!). Right before spring break and I believe it was a couple weeks after Daytona. We waited in line once for about 45 minutes, otherwise they were all 20-30 minutes or less for the big rides.

My parents have a timeshare in Kissimee, which was about 15 minutes away from the parks with a shuttle that took us there every day. With that alone we saved
about 3-5 grand on hotel stay near the parks.

    Regards,
    Nick

Oh I understand.... it was expensive 25 years ago as well but it's well worth seeing the smile on the face of a child you love. :)

When I was living in Florida, we were there with a group from the area Optimist Clubs. They let the Optimist Club groups in an hour before
everyone else, so we had free roam of the park, and hardly any wait in
    lines for the rides.

This is true. I have to chuckle at a punny picture, of a picture
apparently from there, with folks in costumes of a certain Disney
    character.

In '88 I took the family down there along with my Mom. We were at one character breakfast over in Lake Buena Vista on the paddlewheel boat. Goofy would come over and just harrass the shit out of my Mom. She kindly asked him to stop. He didn't, Goofy went home toothless. Got an extra day at the park as well.

Wow!! If there had been a lawyer viewing that, you could've filed a
nice lawsuit there. Nowadays, with the cellphone video, you make that go
viral, and that'll really show that "revenge is a dish best served
cold"!! But, he got what he deserved...he was asked to stop, and he did
not. Sounds almost like sexual harrassment to me.

As I said, we got an extra day so that was quite satisfying. Back then lawsuits were rare.

I'm sure he lost his job, which wasn't my plan. I just wanted to let the guy know he was crossing the line between entertaining and being an ass.

not. Sounds almost like sexual harrassment to me.

LOL... I wouldn't go that far. He chose my Mom to be the "stooge" so to speak.
Some would have enjoyed playing that role. My Mom, well... not her cup of
    ea.

That reminds me of a day an elvis impersanator came up to my mom hyrating all around her and and "seranating" her she was embarresed as hell.. well.. on the last gyration he grated a little too close to her elbow and it found its way right into his nutsack. she just about put him straight into the floor. thats when we could tell he was for sure lip syncing and not really singing because his voice would have raised a few octaves at that moment in time. I have that picture somewhere. it will always be one of my most treasured possessions.

needless to say, if it was really elvis and she was in her teens i'm sure it would have been comepletely different.
