This one should be trivial...I hope. Many ftpd servers will accept ftp
as the anonymous username. Is it possible to add this to the ftp server
portion of sbbs? Pretty much everywhere I go I login as ftp rather than anonymous and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Add the following line to your ctrl/alias.cfg file:

ftp guest

Sorry, that won't work. The aliases defind in alias.cfg cannot be used for login, really just for receiving email.

I was puzzled, as the format I saw was something like:

and it was similar on each line.
