• Synchronet Web FTP default "extended" descriptions

From Lith@VERT/ASIRTA to All on Wednesday, July 05, 2017 12:07:25
I've been attempting to change the default "short" file description listings to "extended" file description listings inside the Synchronet Web FTP page. From looking at the script, it's hard to make out specifically what needs to be changed. I thought it would be easy as replacing "short" with "extended" or changing a "0" to a "1" but it looks a little more complicated.

Does anyone know an easy way to change the default Synchronet file listing to "extended"? Posting script code is fine as well.

The default (the value of the ftp.extended_descriptions property) is currently based on the current user's setting in their user account. If you want to over-ride the user's setting (their preference), you could force 'show_ext_desc=true' in exec/ftp-html.js.

Did not see that the extended descriptions were in the user's profile, "guest" for instance, and that it was the true/false that changes it in the script.

    I appreciate the help!
