• Sex Ed

From Daryl Stout@VERT/TBOLT to TONY LANGDON on Monday, July 03, 2017 11:43:00
    Tony,

Another funny one was where the "twit" asked questions...one was "Why can't I have access to your adult files area?? I need it for a sex education class research project!!". My response?? "Nice try, but no dice". <G>

ROFL, like we used to ask if there were any pracs in sex ed... There never TL>were LOL.

Back in high school in south Florida, we had what was known as the "quinmester" system...2 in the fall, 2 in the spring, then the summer
    session.

For this one class it was Health Education in #1, Sex Education in #2, Drivers Education (classroom) in #3, and Drivers Education (practice driving/parking, etc. area) in #4. I think the school was one of few
that had its own "driving range"...and this had nothing to do with golf
    balls!! <G>

Speaking of which <BG>, back to the sex education deal. They were
showing a film (this was long before VHS, CD, DVD, etc.) on the entire
spectrum of puberty, then the entire childbirth process from intercourse
to childbirth. Before it started, they warned that "those who are
squeamish or with weak stomachs, might want to sit close the door, in
case they have to run outside to puke!!". Sure enough, just before the
baby was born, several bolted out the door...most of them, females!!

Strangely enough, I didn't...but now, if I hear, see, or smell someone vomiting, I'll do likewise within 10 seconds.

Never mind "You want to hear a good gag??" <BARF!> :P

    Daryl

Driver ed came to school a bit later here, but yeah it is a good idea, and having a place to practice is ideal.

Yeah, I think we had a video, those U-matic machines were around schools by the late 1970s, just before VHS really took off.
