• FTelnet Link

    From Daryl Stout@VERT/TBOLT to All on Saturday, July 01, 2017 23:00:37
    For whatever reason, the FTelnet Link on the website won't connect
    to the BBS. I have set up an external FTelnet Link via a URL, and
    would like to know how to put that into the ftelnet.ssjs file.

    I got a NEW router installed this evening (after dealing with
    thunderstorms earlier)...a LinkSys EA7300 router, replacing the
    longtime LinkSys WRT54G router, which I'll keep as a backup.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    P.S. We're in a bit of an unsettled weather pattern in Arkansas
    right now, with chances of thunderstorms each day and evening.
    So, if you can't connect to the BBS, please try again later.

    Edit your index located in C:\sbbs\web\root below is an example, this is what I did on my BBS.

    template.additional_services ='[' + ("Log Onto THE OUTWESTBBS ".link("http://embed.ftelnet.ca/?Hostname=outwestbbs.com&Port=23&Proxy=proxy-us -ga.ftelnet.ca&ProxyPort=1123&ProxyPortSecure=11235&AutoConnect=false&Connectio nType=telnet&Emulation=ansi-bbs&TopButtons=true&VirtualKeyboard=off")) + '] ';

    that's what I did.
