I was able to access it this morning. It just takes an extremely long time to load on my end. I'm going to download a local copy for the future.
Thanks.

you're right about that. takes several minutes to load.
so yeah, 106 seconds is a long time to wait... really weird, though, is that some things are pretty quick... on the order of just a few seconds... that might be due to caching but i checked some pages that i've never been to before

someone should tell deuce to run it on a hosted server.
1. I host wiki.synchro.net.
2. I don't like hosting my stuff off-site, especially when there is dynamic content and authentication involved, like the wiki has. I have 5 Mb/s upstream which should be plenty.
3. I just tested it from Northern California, and it appears to be responding fast.

I've had slow response times from Georgia, but not bad enough to make me go away, I usually swap over to whatever project I'm working on until the wiki pages load. what is strange though is that YOU host wiki and it is so much slower than anything else you host.. it might be somethign other than bandwidth, and/or speed.
Do you by chance have IPv6 but you're not currently using it? If so, is there an AAAA record set for your domain?

It may be trying to connect via IPv6 first for people that have it,
and taking awhile to revert to IPv4.
I am performing a massive sync to Onedrive that won't be done for
days. Since these complaints, I've thottled those uploads to 1Mb/s.
I'm guessing when the Onedrive sync is done (which will be longer
now), the responsiveness will improve.
it is possible that there was a router loop in the path that has beenfixed
since we last looked at it... or maybe the kids were home from school and flooding the 'net with all their traffic... it is also possible that the machine, itself, was just loaded up or maybe even dealing with a DDOS at that time... i don't know but it is certainly much faster now than it was the other day :)

ahhh, yeah, that may very well have been the choke point... overloaded outbound pipe... it is much faster today then the other day...

hahaha! i wouldn't even do that... running it on a hosted server or telling deuce to do so :lololol:

i know i was joking.
i dont know why you are numbering your replies.
there are many advantages when hosting content on commercial servers.
all i know is the site was very slow to load when i tried it and it has been very slow in the past to load.

just tried it again and it took 1 minute to load the welcome page.

Maybe to help you get the point.. did'nt sound like a joke to me.. or at
The wiki has always seemed to be slower than any other services he hosts on my part at least.. here lately.. I presume maybe it was because the backup.. I have'nt utilized it in a while now.
