Re: Problem with incoming email

I am trying to port a one-way mail list into a message area on my bbs. The messages come in this format:
This is a multi-part message in MIME format...
------------=_1493582579-1910-5663
[msg text, in TEXT, here!]
------------=_1493582579-1910-5663
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"
Content-Disposition: inline
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7BIT
= = =
[list info, also in TEXT, here!]
------------=_1493582579-1910-5663--
The only thing that SBBS imports is the "list info" section. It ignores
the msg text.
I suspect that the entire message text is imported but the BBS is only *showing* you one of the MIME sections. Try turning on Raw I/O mode (hit Ctrl-Z) and read the message(s) again and see if you then see all the MIME headers and such. If so, then the SMB/MIME decoding feature is at fault.
Let me know and I'll see if I can easily add multiple-MIME section support to the SMB library.
