Synchronet BBS for Linux Version 3.17 what happened? I thought most javascript stuff
should run... Looks really cool. No go here though.. what can I check for.. I
got my API key
and copied and configured the scfg. What can I check for?

Sounds like you did't set the command-line correctly. JavaScript mods must have a command-line that begins with a '?' or '*'.

You will need to recompile with the USE_DOSEMU=1 argument on your make line in order to compile in dosemu support.

I logged into your BBS, and I think DM is correct, it looks like the script doesn't execute at all when the door is run.

I logged into your BBS, and I think DM is correct, it looks like the script doesn't execute at all when the door is run.

There is a ? before the command... it doesn't run because its broke.

Actually, based on the error message you reported it's most likely that you configured this program incorrectly. Maybe paste the configuration screen from scfg here; perhaps somebody will see something. Or just delete that program's entry and create it again, following section 5 of the 'sysop.txt' file that comes with it.

Or, you know, just jump to conclusions. That can be fun.

That's the new self destruct option. You have to set up the command line to include /dontdeleteeverythingprettyplease but it's only "documented" if you decode the first letter of every odd numbered line in the code.
