hi anyone else install a additional net and when tried to areafix got the response invalid echo group from areafix?

i am getting that right now with zyxel and my uplink has already reinstalled the correct zyxel msg echoes and exported to areas.bbs, how do i check for a corrupt file somewhere? areas.bbs is in order and i can browse the areas just cant areafix em?

Are you referring to trying to allow downlinks to request areas in the othernet from you?

There's a trick to othernets -- you need to configure additional echo lists into echocfg, and give each echo list a unique flag.

Then, for each node, set an areafix flag corresponding to the flag you've given the echo list.

no i dont have downlinks, this error happens everytime i try to areafix my zyxelnet with my uplink and i am using the .NA file that he gave me to import. the both of us are equally stumped.
