I am attempting to build Synchronet on OPENSuse. I followed all the prerequisites, but still get the errors listed below. The Command Line I am Using is:
# wget 'http://cvs.synchro.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/install/GNUmakefile' # gmake install USE_DOSEMU=1 SYMLINK=1
Any ideas to what I'm doing wrong. Installing to "/home/cg/sbbs" I appreaciate any pointers as I'm just starting out on Linux.
gmake -C /home/cg/sbbs/src/sbbs3 os=linux RELEASE=1

Looks like you're missing the 'patch' utility. Find the package that includes the command and install it for your OS.
