• binkd and sbbsecho

ok, got binkd up. from synchronet I can netmail my main board. I can from my Mystic board poll PB Sync board and they connect.

But I can seem to get the fidonet part going. created a test message, ran sbbsecho and I see the files in the outbound folder but mail does not go out, so obviously I got something wrong in the sbbsecho.cfg but am not sure what.

suggestions to get me pointed in the right direction. I can email someone my sbbsecho.cfg file if they want to take a look at it and I guess my binkd.cfg file also.

While I am on this, is there a way to set the port for binkd to something else beside the 24554?

Yes, the ports are set with the iport and oport keywords in your binkd.conf. IIRC you just need the iport keyword uncommented with the new port to use but I haven't done this in a while.. you may need to experiment a bit.

Yes, uncommented and added the port #. Worked like a charm.
