• Placing a sub-board in multiple areas

From Underminer@VERT/UNDRMINE to All on Sunday, April 05, 2015 06:55:41
If I were to use the same internal code for a sub board in multiple areas, would that work correctly, or are there other considerations with pointers and such?

I'm trying to set my areas up as categories that make sub boards easy to find, but there are one or two sub boards that would fit into more than one category.

i'm not sure about that, but it's a kind of sloppy thing to do.
one thing you might want to do is make a menu with baja or .js and have a selection menu that would drop the user right into that sub board.

Currently, pointers are not indexed to a sub's internal code, so if you have the same internal code in multiple message groups, the users may see the same messages repeated during new-message scans.

Yup, it's hard. While it's possible to have the same message base appear in multile groups, I don't recommend it.
