• Received %s from %s via QWK

When I log in every now and then I get spammed by the packets received messages. I was thinking maybe I would just change line 629 in text.dat
to run a js script that logs it to a file instead of display it.

    Can you do something like:

    "@EXEC:logqwk %s %s@" ?

    or even just something like:

Received packets from %s via QWK.

Where %s would just be the BBS I received from.

    Thanks!

No, that string is sent in a short user message (telegram), so the @-code won't
be interpretted until the message is actually displayed to the user (you).

    or even just something like:

Received packets from %s via QWK.

Text.dat item 629 is ReceivedFileViaQWK. This "File" is not a packet, but rather a file included in the packet which is not a normaly component of a QWK packet. What is/are the filenames you're receiving? What BBS or network software is sending you these packets with extraneous files? These files are being stored on your hard disk, so I suggest you look into the matter rather than suppress it/ignore it.

If you want to suppress these messages, just setting that text.dat line to a blank string ("") would do it.
