From Zekros Hunzhang@VERT/DIONYSUS to All on Saturday, June 14, 2014 15:09:00
    Hi all,

I'm an old school BBSer...been a user since '83 or '84 and a Sysop from the later 80's to '95 or '96. Man, those were awesome days...and now I've caught the bug again. Heh, the community is much smaller, but it's still alive. I was totally surprised by that!

Anyway, I've recently set up SBBS 2.3 and it's working pretty great. I've been doing it old-school and in the spirit of the hobbyist days :) I've been mostly just messing around, getting DOVE networked in, then got myself a new Fido node number, getting hooked back in. I tried getting up and running multi-node under DESQview, but damn, that was a fight. I lost. So running it under OS/2, since I had the old disks that I never threw out, hehehe.

So...I've been working with the old codebase (and thanks Rob, for releasing it. That was so cool). I've patched a few y2k issues and other stuff. I was wondering. Does anyone still run the older DOS/OS2 version?
Was going to push it up to my github account and was wondering if anyone is interested.
