Found this in my logs today after a netmail from a downlink. Any ideas anybody? Rob??

I think that might be a file lock error. Not sure what would cause it,
though.

That's a message base locking error. Sounds like that message base is already locked (opened for exclusive access), perhaps by chksmb or smbutil?

I have no idea, unless one of those utilities runs in some event? I used to early on when I first started with Sync run one of those daily. but stopped that years ago. Why would it reset the new scan counter and export 215 previouisly exported messages? Strange event, but it has only happened that one time, at least that I am aware of <G>

Because it couldn't open the message base (the lock error logged), it thought there was 0 messages in the message base and the export pointer value was invalid.
