Yes, works like a charm. You have to use a different fossel driver. I'm not at home now, but I will post full info tomorrow on setup. The fossel driver is NetFoss, which I think I have a copy on my my system for download.

Use NetFoss, and place in it's own directory off xtrn, and use the NF.Bat that comes with NetFoss. You can D/L NetFoss from my system as NetFoss.zip. Then go into SBBS Config and set up as follows. Hope this helps.

    Name Lunatix
    Internal Code LUNATIX
    Start-up Directory ..\xtrn\lunatix
    Command Line c:\sbbs\xtrn\netfoss\nf.bat /N%# /H%H lunatix n%# Clean-up Command Line
    Execution Cast None
    Access Requirements
    Execution Requirements
    Multiple Concurent Users Yes
    Intercept I/O No
    Native Executable Yes
    Use Shell to Execute No
    Modify User Data No
    Execute On Event No
    Pause After Execution No
BBS Drop File Type GAP DOOR.SYS
Place Drop File In Node Directory

nf.bat? I need to set up lunatix part in netfoss to load it in .bat

All the nf.bat does is call up Netfoss, then lunitix is loaded afterwords in the lunatix n%# part of the command line.

I *just* installed it and registered Lunatix. It was crazy slow until I turned fossil support off in the lunatix configation. It was option 13 in each of the nodes I think. The last one on the page.

Hopefully that works for you too!

I spoke too soon. I tried again and Lunatix is still going slow as molasses. I notice that if I hit Enter on the server-side (the 'local view' window that opens when someone opens a door.) then the whole thing speeds up to normal even my syncterm-side. Hitting Enter within the client-side (syncterm) doesn't make a difference.

I haven't messed with fossils in forever.. I guess I have a project tonight. :)

I tried but netfoss doesn't seem to like the /h option - and if I leave it out it complains there's no 'node or handle passed'

    Still trying! I love a project. :)

Somewhere I remember it have to be a cap H. and I also remember a newer version out there. If you still have a problem, I will zip up my netfoss directory for you to d/l

Hard to say what happened, but all of sudden it started working. I did need to add a %1 to the command line like it says to do in the nf.bat file. It works! :)
