I am assuming you've run SCFG and setup all the file areas along with the correct parent directory? Do you have your file areas on a different drive? If so, I believe you need to go to File Options and setup an alternative path as well.

    Keep us posted..

Not exactly sure I'm understanding you here, but I'll give it a shot.

Did you configure all your file areas with SCFG? That should have created the file areas on your Synchronet BBS, as well as created the file areas on your hard drive.

Did you have permissions to create the file areas where you did?

Where, exactly, is it showing 0 for file areas? I don't know where "on the bottom" is. If you can post some more specific information, I'll gladly see what I can do to help. :)

    Regards,
    Nick

what screen are you looking at?
how did you get to that screen?

Perhaps provide a copy/paste of what you're talking about. I'm not clear if you're saying you have 0 file *areas* or 0 *files* in an area.

Synchronet comes with some generic pre-configured file areas, so unless you deleted them in SCFG->File Areas, you should at least have a "Main" file area (library) with a few directories.

What shows in "file explorer" (I assume you mean Windows Explorer?) is irrelevant. What matters is what you have configured in SCFG->File Areas and what files you have *added* to your file area databases (see http://wiki.synchro.net/faq:files#adding_files for details).
