It's obvious. You and Bart Ehrman are agents of the devil sent here to confuse the true believers. Of course, if the devil has earthly powers, how can the true believers trust anything in reality? Discuss that while you're at it!

I enjoyed this video as well. What point are You trying to advance with this? I found the lecturer made well thought out points, and illustrated several times that the "inaccuracies" had little to no effect on the Doctrine or Theological Value of the New Testament. I believe that I will go out and buy his book so that I have it in my collection. One very good point that he made was that you find what you are looking for.

I believe that I will go out and buy his book so that I have it in my collection. One very good point that he made was that you find what you
    are looking for.

Then, you will probably find the book.

You can declare finding it to be a miracle, and use that to "prove" that
the contents of the book are true.

I was truly hoping people would earnestly watch the lecture. And that seems to have been the case. I honestly expected rebutles on several points but I am extremely pleased that you enjoyed it as much as I did.

This will come in extremely handy later for me :)
    - I am also going to purchase his book.

Come in handy howso? PLanning on trying to ambush me? I don't dispute that there are problems in transcription or translation. I have posted in many threads atesting to the potential for this. My point is, so what, the overall message is intact. Bart said such things as well. I am not trying to debate with you in this message. I am just trying to understand your statement here.

Ambush you? Sorry Rev, my goals in debating religeon are not targeted at you. Extremely handy as a tool to point at people. Not many seem as willing as you to learn, or listen.

I am seperated from my family because of religeon.

I have lost my best friend because of religeon.

Any tools that will pry eyes open a little are more than welcomed.

Sorry. Just used to feeling Ambushed in this forum. I am truly sorry about your seperation of family and best friend due to religion. This is one reason why I took so long before joining a church. I have been involved in so many churches that abused people that for a long time I was unwilling to attend one on a regular basis. So I got ordained along with my Dad, and the two of us started our own Home-based group. The body that I currently attend is a great one, where people don't judge you, and it really is like an extension of my family. You see, my philosphy is that religion is man-made and like anything man-made, it is destined to fail. I truly believe that I have a relationship with my creator. That is what God desired. That is why we were created. That is originally why angels were created. They at one point had free will. This is what started the rebellion and the fall. But I digress.

I enjoy having discussions with you and am all for enlightenment. I just think that people on both sides of our many debates get blinded by thier own beliefs. Many times people don't even know what they truly believe. (BTW I include myself in the getting blinded sometimes, no one is perfect). I hope to have future discussions with you in the future.
