    I think they are talking about fixing a bug that causes polls from twits not to be filtered. At least, I think I have read talk about that elsewhere.

    Why not force a section in the poll to illuminate WHY this poll
    is being conducted, its relevance, or force the builder to
    provide some context.

    You are exactly right: this is for fun. I was just suggesting a way to encourage an option to provide relevance or some context to the poll. "Force" was the wrong word.
