Are there any Wiccans on here ?

I was practicing that for awhile about 15-16 years ago. It was just a phase, though; I found that my true beliefs lay much more along the Buddhist tenets. With a few Hermetic overtones thrown in, I guess.

Well thank you. :) For what it's worth, I do have one friend that I'm still very close to who is a practicing Wiccan. He actually ended up going from a standard Wiccan/goddess worship to a superset of beliefs after he started reading up on all kinds of alternate theologies. The guy is an absolute tome of knowledge on everything from Vedic, Norse, and
European theologies to Islam and Qabbalistic belief structures. He's
seriously the most well versed guy that I've ever met on theologies and mythologies. He used to log in here from time to time, but he fell back to all of the different belief groups on Facebook (*puke*). He is kind of a
Luddite, though, and never used text-based systems at all in his day. He was starting to learn the interface though. I'm thinking that if I mentioned this conversation to him I could probably get him to start logging in again. I'll see if I can get him back on here.
He actually even goes into things such as numerology and opening
his watchtowers. He'd be really great for a conversation in any depth. I'm kind of curious, now, as to what kinds of traditions you hold, if you don't terribly mind me asking.
I haven't been meditating lately (and it shows, unfortunately), but I've got a pretty regimented belief structure, and it couples greatly into my own researching and theories into the universe, both physically and metaphysically. Might be a bit of an interesting discussion. :) I miss being able to talk that much about these things any more; when I was still in NoDak I'd visit the friend I was talking about above at least 3-4 times a week, and have him randomly dropping in, too. Here I discuss these kinds of things every now and then with my roomie, but he's very disinclined to spiritual or metaphysical discussions and pursuit beyond those of the universe and different grand unified theories involving consciousness. Let me know if you're interested in talking more and I'll shed a little light on my own beliefs, as well. :)
Wicca was definitely the first 'religion' (I'll explain the quotes
around this word later, as well, should we continue to talk) that I ever felt any sincere personal belief in, due to its ties with the natural order of things. I have a very fond spot in my heart for it. :)
    Best wishes!

I used to identify as one, but I was the typical "self-initiated solitary." Oh, I had a couple of friends who were properly initiated in Gardnerian and Alexandrian covens, but that never "clicked" with me. Go figure. I do credit Wicca with being the gateway to the pantheon of so-called "alternative religion," and it was my Wiccan friends who told me about Thelema, Discordianism and "Bob". And once I let Eris into my pants and "Bob" into my wallet, I came to the realization that searching for the right "label" was a pointless effort for me-- if it's that important, the "label" will find me. Still, a good experience, and I still count them among friends, even if I've continued my search for personal gnosis elsewhere.

Iiiinteresting. I've wanted to hear more about that religion from a source that actually is considered a member for some time now. I mean there's a plethora of information available online, but one never really knows what exactly to trust, especially on such a subject wrapped in esoteric shrouds. What would you give for a short primer on that subject if you had your arm twisted or felt like giving a little intro to it? I'd be interested in hearing whatever you might have to say on the matter.

    )) I am a Wiccan. I follow a newer Egyptian tradition which I designed
myself. My Lord and Lady are the Egyptian God THOTH and the Egyptian Goddess Hathor. Early on in my following and worship I broke my Wiccan oath thus becoming a Wiccan Warlock while at the time acquring the Warlock name Wiccaless. Further down my path I took up my oath once again keeping the
Wiccan name Astariel for myself. I guess the most important thing that I can mention here about my Crafte is that I make it my highest priority to follow the credo of Wicca which is "An it harm none, do as thou will". Which upon translating it out of its mystery meaning becomes where it has no harmful effect upon the believer to do anthing according to the higher spiritual purpose of one's True Will. If you have any further questions pertaining to my faith itself or Wicca in general, please feel to post a new message to me as I will be freqently checking into this board and should be able to answer you promptly and properly. Namaste and PEACE, my friend! Love is the Law, Love under Will!

The best way I can describe the essence within and behind the Emerald Tablets is that each idea contains its own paradox. It is because it was at first
meant to be symbolisms for deeper study of Magick, Spirit, and Element. All of each of these three Universal energy structures has their own realms of existence which inter-dimensionally overlap one another throughout space and time completely within the entire expanse of our known Universe and beyond in the Creator's Chaos realm. The Tablets contain the vibrational structures and evidences describing the simplistic means by which all realms exist together through mere calculatical duality of opposites and comparable equalities throughout all of the Universe's Nature. Without the conditional and self-compensating dualities within all energy form their could be no sound structure. All would return to a Chaos state without duality containing and vibrating a preferred Nuetrality in its design as its balancing factor. For example when vibrations move within Magickal force for one effect, a balancing vibration in the energetical wave-lenth of its opposite compensates the energy for existential will within and outside each effect. To reduce it into
Magickal mathematical equation it becomes 2 × 2 = 1. Which contains in definition how the dualities within one paradoxical energy does create an
equal multiple of the two opposing dualites creating its alchemical energy' paradoxical opposite energy force to build the Nuetrality between the 2 for a constant result of 1 surviving nuetral compensatory effect. Thus, all energy realms contain life form of their that dwell as inert until vibration acts
upon them. The Emerald Tablets show all of these meanings in their most simplistic symbolistic, meditional form to bring affect and effectiveness into the dualities within and between the mind and subconscious for our own existence inside all over-lapping realms to also include the Astral and Etheral.
