    Well I have the opendoor files, a rather older version me thinks. Fitting. I'm an older version myself.

    Looking at the docs I remember how much I have forgotten, nested this, timed events that, Random number generators, verbales, if/then and compiling, .h .c .ohmygod files. Cripes.

    I like to tell myself I can do anything I set my mind to. Easy to say, ea? It seems to me that I'd be a MUCH better game architect than programmer.

    But I need to kill nine months anyway so here goes.

    Does you all recommend the free microsoft compiler for a "C" game to be run on a pc under XP?

    Yes, the free Microsoft compiler (along with the free platform SDK) should be all you need.

    If your looking for a dos compiler i'll pass along turbo c++ 3.0 ,
