    Well you can download Visual C++ 2005 Express free from Microsoft (along with the Platform SDK) and build Synchronet-Win32 with that.

    Actually, I just wanted to see if I could program some specialized modules and doors for Synchronet. I should be able to use Open Watcom C\C++ for that, right??

    Do your downloading before November.. they're making it non-free (as in beer) after that... they may change their minds on that though, iirc the original plan was to charge like $50 for the "Express" versions.. so, who knows.
