I dropped the author of JamochaMud client (http://www.jamochamud.org/)
an email about adding support for extended characters to his mud client.

He said if I had some good reference material he would take a look and consider it. Naturally I have none.

Does anyone have something I could hook him up with? It may be an opportunity to get a good java telnet client for bbs.

By extended characters, do you mean IBM extended ASCII (a.k.a. code page 437)? If so, there's a ton of material on the web (google "cp437").

If you mean something else, then please clarify.
