• Pascal and BBS Doors?

From Mirrorman@VERT/AMIGACAM to All on Monday, December 17, 2012 22:11:00
    Hi,

Is there any neat package with all the needed stuff in it to start
programming doors? If so I'd love to get pointed in the right direction.

I'd love to make my own doors for Synchronet. And distribute them for free of course, I used to do that for Tempest in the old Amiga days as well.

    Thanks in advance.

If you want to use Pascal, perhaps Turbo Pascal would work for BBS doors. I see a download link on this page: http://www.windows7download.com/win7-turbo-pascal/yhmbqdsv.html

But why specifically do you want to use Pascal? OpenDoors is a fairly good C toolkit for writing doors. It can be used with C++ as well.

Look up OpenDoors, it's a c++ dev library that seems quite popular. You can get the src from http://cvs.synchro.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/src/odoors/

Well, personally I find Pascal easier, I don't know anything about C :)
