Is anyone else having problems running the new Ubuntu? It seems to screw up

While I myself use Kubuntu 7.10 on my desktop PC, I've noticed that my X server crashed, trying to lauch a program through wine, Nexuiz and even Kopete somehow manages to crash X every time I enter its configuration!

I don't remember this ever happening in 7.04 on my laptop and wine/Kopete don't seem like applications that would otherwise crash your entire X server...

What problems did you run across? Just curious..

Well the problems I would have is basically once it boots up the main program, after it's been installed that is, I pretty much can't do jack after that LOL.

I also noticed the same problem with Ultimate Ubuntu v1.6. I stayed with 1.5 since it works flawlessly for me at the moment.
