Really? That's interesting to me, because besides my MacPro tower I have an old Blue & White G3 that I upgraded with a sonnet zifG4 733MHz and 768MB of RAM. I was wondering if it would run Leopard or not. It feels slow already. It currently has 10.3 Panther on it. I think the biggest thing that makes that older Mac feel slow is that it does not have a video card supported by Quartz, so the UI is done completely in software. Not something you want happening when your CPU is getting long in the tooth as it is.

I read that you need a minimum cpu of 1ghz (G4). I know previous versions of os x you could get past that (seem to recall install util called xpostfacto) but I haven't heard of anyone doing that with leopard (yet).

And this is a copy I downloaded a while back. I'm not sure I even have the latest version (I guess I should check).

I just downloaded the latest version of Syncterm (wow - now has an installer and a nice shiny new icon :D hah).

It works on my IntelMac running Leopard, so I'm not sure what's up with your eMac.
