250 gig sata drives are 'new'?
Not 'new' meaning that they are state-of-the-art or cutting-edge. 'New', meaning they have never been used before and have just been purchased by
me.
Never assume that. I went to Fry's and picked up a 160MB Maxtor drive.
Plugged it in to install Windoze for a customer and it said an operating
system was already on the disk. Decided to pull it and see what was
going on. Appears to have had Vista installed and partially removed.
However there were tons of photographs that a previous user had loaded
and not removed. Pictures of trips to China, Louisiana, birthday
parties. No nekkid chicks tho :(. I couldn't find evidence of credit
cards or anything so just went and reformatted the drive. :) Of course,
I got a new one for my customer.
